Actually it is a shame that there isn't something similar for a lot of them because I always check in the reg entries after uninstalling using 'their removal tool/s' and find there is still stuff left behind in the reg entries - not that it is hard to delete but all the same not very professional their part. Two I find are particularly bad are Norton (Symantec as you will know) and Avira and just lately with the latest Kaspersky (2015) as I use Kaspersky on all the machine bar this new lappy is the very devil to remove because that haven't yet got a proper uninstall tool together yet. Even the kav remover Revo and control panel don't shift it. I think the only way is to delete the reg entry but as it is going back on again shortly and when I get my little posting problem fixed. Yep that's ok but I found the link had some funny ideas on how to set msconfig. Usually one sets the start up programs with the Startup tab opened. Personally I only set CCleaner in that tab I don't bother with the OS or the AV obviously the OS is running or you would not get to the msconfig LOL!!
